- 4 halibut fillets (about 6 oz each or 170 g)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (56 g)
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons capers, rinsed
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, capers, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Place halibut fillets in a baking dish and pour the lemon butter mixture over them.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
Notes
- Serve it with a side of steamed vegetables or rice for a complete meal.
- Feel free to substitute halibut with another white fish like cod or tilapia.
