- 1 large round bread loaf
- 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (240 ml) sour cream
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup (150 g) diced cooked bacon
- 1/2 cup (75 g) green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) ranch dressing mix
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the top off the bread loaf and hollow out the inside, saving the removed bread for dipping.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, bacon, green onions, and ranch dressing mix until well blended.
- Transfer the mixture into the hollowed-out bread bowl.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and heated through.
- Serve warm with the reserved bread pieces and your choice of vegetables.
Notes
- You can swap bacon for diced ham or leave it out for a vegetarian option.
