Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz (225 g) pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup (240 ml) white wine
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
- 12 oz (340 g) mixed seafood (shrimp, scallops, and mussels)
- 1/2 cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
- 1 tsp (5 g) red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for 3-5 minutes, allowing some of the alcohol to cook off.
- Add the mixed seafood to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until the seafood is opaque and cooked through.
- Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter dish, you can substitute half and half for heavy cream.
- Feel free to use any combination of seafood available to you.
