- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices of cheese (optional)
- lettuce, tomato, and pickles for toppings
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup. Mix gently until just combined.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape into patties.
- Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Toast the burger buns on the grill or skillet if desired.
- Assemble the burgers with your favorite toppings and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use 80/20 meat for the best juiciness.
- Do not overmix the meat to keep the burgers tender.
