Ingredients

- 2 cups mixed vegetables (broccoli, bell peppers, carrots) (300 g)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (15 ml)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce (45 ml)
- 1 tablespoon honey (15 ml)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil (5 ml)
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (30 ml)
- Cooked rice or noodles, for serving
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add mixed vegetables and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and cornstarch slurry.
- Pour the sauce over the vegetables and stir well; cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
- Feel free to substitute any of your favorite vegetables.
- For added protein, include tofu or cooked chicken.
