- 1 jar (16 oz / 450 g) dill pickles, sliced
- 1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (100 g) breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Drain and pat the pickles dry with paper towels.
- In one bowl, whisk the eggs. In another bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
- Dip each pickle slice first in the flour mixture, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs.
- In a frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Fry the pickle slices in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes each side.
- Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add some cayenne pepper to the flour mixture.
- Ensure the oil is hot enough before frying to achieve a crispy texture.
