- 8 oz (225 g) pasta (your choice)
- 1 cup (240 ml) pesto sauce
- 2 cups (300 g) cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
- 1/4 cup (30 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the halved cherry tomatoes. Sauté for about 5 minutes until they soften.
- Add the cooked pasta and pesto sauce to the skillet, tossing everything together until well coated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan and fresh basil if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add crushed red pepper flakes to the tomatoes while cooking.
- You can substitute homemade pesto for store-bought for a fresher taste.
