- 1 lb (450 g) beef sirloin, sliced thinly
- 2 cups (300 g) broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) soy sauce
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) beef broth
- 2 tablespoons (30 g) brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, cornstarch, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
- Place sliced beef in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over it. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, stir in the broccoli florets.
- Once done, serve hot and garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
- Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
- Adjust the sugar level based on your taste preference.
