Slow Cooker Beef Brisket Better Than Restaurant: Juicy & Homemade

I create the best slow cooker beef brisket that’s juicier than any restaurant. With minimal effort and simple ingredients, this recipe delivers mouthwatering flavors that make for a perfect family dinner.

  • Total Time: 8 hours 10 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 lbs (1360 g) beef brisket
  • 1 cup (240 ml) beef broth
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15 g) brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon (15 g) smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) salt
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2 g) red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the brisket with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and thyme.
  2. Place the sliced onion and minced garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Place the brisket on top of the onions and garlic.
  4. In a bowl, mix the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar, then pour over the brisket.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours until the brisket is tender.
  6. Slice and serve with the cooking juices for extra flavor.

Notes

  • For extra tenderness, let the brisket rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes or crusty bread to soak up the juices.
