Ingredients

- 2 cups (280g) cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups (480ml) chicken broth
- 1 cup (150g) frozen corn
- 1 cup (150g) diced potatoes
- 1 cup (150g) chopped onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Add all ingredients except for the heavy cream to the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours.
- Stir in the heavy cream during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, use homemade chicken broth.
- This chowder can also be topped with crumbled bacon or fresh parsley.
