- 1 lb (450 g) ground turkey
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup (240 ml) chicken broth
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground turkey over medium heat until no longer pink.
- Transfer the turkey to the slow cooker and add black beans, kidney beans, diced tomatoes, bell pepper, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, pepper, and chicken broth.
- Stir to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
