Ingredients

- 2 (5 oz) cans of tuna, drained (140 g each)
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise (60 g)
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (60 g)
- 1/4 cup chopped celery (30 g)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices of bread (white or whole wheat)
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, celery, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Spread the tuna mixture evenly over 2 slices of bread.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Cover with the remaining slices of bread to form sandwiches.
- Butter the outside of each sandwich.
- Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Cut in half and serve hot.
Notes
- For added flavor, try adding a dash of hot sauce to the tuna mixture.
- Experiment with different types of cheese, such as Gruyère or mozzarella.
