Ingredients

  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 1 pound (450 g) ground chicken or pork
  • 1 cup (150 g) shredded carrots
  • 1 cup (150 g) diced bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup (75 g) chopped green onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the ground meat, carrots, bell peppers, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  3. Lightly grease a muffin tin and gently press each wonton wrapper into the cups.
  4. Fill each wonton cup with the meat mixture.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the wrappers are golden and the filling is cooked through.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute ground beef or turkey for the chicken or pork.
  • Add some diced water chestnuts for extra crunch!
